Risk Assessment – Level 2

Aims: The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999 requires employers to conduct suitable and sufficient risk assessments.

PASMA Scaffold

The New Working at Height Regulations 2005 and the Construction (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations 1996, require that the installation or erection of Mobile Access Scaffold Towers should only be carried out by, or under the supervision of, a competent person.

NRSWA Streetworks

The course is designed to make candidates aware of the dangers involved in excavating on public highway and private land and train them to detect and avoid most buried apparatus.

Mobile Tower Scaffold Erection and Use

Aims: To enable delegates to understand the legislation governing mobile alloy towers and for them to understand the need for safe erection and dismantling.

Mobile elevated working platforms (MEWPs)

Aims: This course is designed to provide an understanding of the HASAWA regulations with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 instructing delegates in all aspects of the correct preparation, testing and hiring of this equipment.

Manual Handling

Back pain is the single greatest cause for time off work for injury. Lifting, handling and carrying are responsible for 10% of back injuries.
