BTEC Level 3 Sport National
The two year BTEC Level 3 Sport National is intended to equip the successful student to operate safely and effectively in the sports and leisure industry. The course will focus on the lightly less scientific areas fo sport, and more on the organisation, performance and development of sport. The 18 unit Diploma course will be structured to allow students to gain a six unit National Award, and a 12 unit National Certificate, to give a flexible qualification. A keen interest in sport and motivation to work with people is an absolute essential.
Either four GCSE passes at grade C or above; or other acceptable qualifications or experience eg BTEC First Diploma in Sience/Sports at Merit/Distinction. All Applicants are interviewed before being offered a place. Please note this couse is 18 units, and is equivalent to a minimum of three A2 Level passes. We will work with all learners in their first 6 weeks at College to place them on the appropriate Award, Certificate or Diploma programme that best meets their individual needs and best ensures their success.
