C&G Level 1 in Travel & Tourism with ESOL
During the year you will be completing the course which will provide you with two industry recognised qualifications in travel. You will gain an understanding of the industry, the types of companies within it and the type of jobs available. One day of your course you will be completing ESOL qualifications to help develop and improve your language skills.
Entry Level 2 English is needed. Students’ suitability for the course is assessed by the ESOL staff on entry.
During the course of the year you will be taken to a variety of places around the local area and further afield. You will be advised in advance of each trip and if any cost to you is applicable. This Level 1 course is made up of three different units, which are a mixture of online assessments and assignments. The course will cover a range of topics within the travel & tourism industry and has lots of practical activities to complete.
The aims of the course are to help you gain improved skills and increased chances of employment within travel & tourism and give you the skills needed within the travel & tourism industry. You could also apply to our BTEC First in Travel and Tourism.
