It’s a highly competitive field, because presenting offers the opportunity of fame and fortune – but it’s a difficult thing to get right.

On this course you will find out what it takes to be a good presenter – and how you can become one.

From pieces to camera to interview technique, from voice over writing and recording to how to get your first big break, the Presenting Course gives you the low down on how to deliver the goods, and perhaps become a household name…

You will learn how to conduct an interview, whether it is with a recently bereaved mother or an expert in nuclear physics, and how a presenter’s role doesn’t begin and end with the words “action” and “cut”.

You will learn about the different kinds of presenters, from experts turned TV stars to “parachute presenters” who will never let you down.

And during the day you will create your own professional show reel, with pieces to camera, vox pops, interviews and voice over, which you can send to agents and broadcasters, to help you get that all important first gig!
