Volunteering

This award recognises good practice in volunteering and focuses on the general skills volunteers need to perform their role effectively, whatever the context. This award is for adult volunteers. It benefits volunteers by providing a formal recognition for what they do in contributing to the community, a structure for improving their skills and knowledge, opportunities to learn from and share their experiences and a progression route to further education, training and employment.
