The IT User NVQ (iTQ) is offered as part of an Apprenticeship framework which also includes Key Skills in Communication (level 1) and Application of Number (level 1). There is also the opportunity to import other IT qualifications such as newCLAIT and ECDL into the iTQ NVQ.

This course ensures delegates become confident in using the essential features of Word to create and alter simple documents.

By the end of this course, delegates will be confident in going beyond the basic features of Word to improve text and page layout of documents and create personalised mailings to groups of people.

By the end of this course delegates will be able to create a template to automate their work. The template will include styles, table of contents, an index, and word fields. You will also be able to create bookmarks and hyperlinks to other documents.
